News: DWI Crash kills one man, injures another in Morgan County
MORGAN COUNTY, MO – One man was killed and another was arrested for DWI after a crash in Morgan County on Friday night.
The Lake Expo reports that the crash took place close to 8:25 p.m. on Highway 5 when a southbound Chevrolet Traverse struck a Toyota Yaris head-on.
The driver of the Toyota, Versailles’ Steven Stafford, 25, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Chevrolet, 36-year-old Alexander Luttrell of Kansas City, was hospitalized at Lake Regional Hospital with serious injuries.
Luttrell was released for treatment, and has been charged with DWI resulting in death.
