News: Rear-end collision on I-29 hospitalized Liberty woman

KANSAS CITY, MO – One driver was hurt in a rear-end collision on I-29 in Kansas City on Wednesday night, reports the MSHP.

The accident occurred close to 6:13 p.m. on the northbound Interstate 29 ramp to 56th Street when a Subaru driven by 71-year-old Scott Jones of Kansas City struck the rear of a Smart Car driven by Liberty’s Kelly Colon, 43.

Colon was take to North Kansas City Hospital where she was treated for minor injuries.

Jones was reportedly uninjured in the accident.
