News: Pedestrian killed while crossing Metropolitan Avenue

KANSAS CITY, KS – A pedestrian was struck and killed on Metropolitan Avenue while crossing the street on Wednesday morning, reports KSHB.

The accident occurred close to 8 a.m. near the intersection of Metropolitan Avenue and 42nd Street.

The unidentified male pedestrian died after being transported to the hospital.

The driver remained to cooperate with police and responders.
