News: Motorcyclist killed in crash after driver fails to yield in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, MO – A motorcyclist was killed after being struck by a car that failed to yield on West 81st Street on Monday.

KSHB reports that the crash took place at West 81st Street and Ward Parkway when a westbound Toyota Camry did not yield to a northbound Kawasaki motorcycle and struck the vehicle, ejecting the rider.

That rider, identified only as an adult male from Kansas City, was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. They were later pronounced dead.

No other injuries are reported in the accident.
