News: Pedestrian killed on I-435 near state line

LEAWOOD, KS – A pedestrian was killed in Leawood on Saturday when she was struck by a pickup on I-435, reports WIBW.

The Crash took place close to 8:10 p.m. at mile marker 76.1 when a Ford F-150 driven by 75-year-old David Nottingham of Olathe was unable to stop in time to avoid striking a pedestrian walking in the roadway.

That pedestrian was identified as 27-year-old Kansas City resident, Reginae N. Chatmon.

Nottingham was not injured in the crash.
