News: Truck crashes into Kansas City coffee shop
KANSAS CITY, MO – A pickup truck smashed through the storefront of a Kansas City coffee shop on Tuesday morning, causing serious damage to the property but only mild injuries.
According to the Kansas City Star, the crash took place close to 6:30 p.m. when a pickup truck crashed through the front of the Anchor Island Coffee shop at 4101 S. Troost Avenue.
The shop had been closed and unoccupied at the time of the crash. Minor injuries are thought to have occurred, though there is no report of any hospitalizations.
Police are uncertain of the cause of the accident at this time.
