News: Passenger killed in hit-and-run accident that struck two parked vehicles in Kansas City
KANSAS CITY, MO – The passenger of a hit-and-run driver died on Monday night after the vehicle struck several parked cars in Kansas City.
The Kansas City Star reports that the accident occurred at around 9:40 p.m. at St. John and Oakley Avenues when it was reported that a westbound Mazda 3 had crashed into a parked Lexus and then a parked Ford F150, both of which had passengers.
The Mazda’s driver fled the scene, leaving behind a passenger. This unnamed female passenger was transported to the hospital where they were later pronounced dead.
The Ford’s occupant received treatment for minor injuries at the hospital at well.
No other injuries are reported in this accident.
