News: Driver injured after being rear-ended by truck on US 50 in Johnson County
JOHNSON COUNTY, MO – A Holden man was hospitalized after being rear-ended by a truck in Johnson County on Wednesday afternoon, reports the MSHP.
The crash took place around 3:56 p.m. on US-50 near NW 1511 Road when a westbound Ford Escape driven by 39-year-old Shannon Correll cut in front of a Kenworth T880 semi truck and was struck in the rear.
Correll was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. His vehicle was totaled.
The driver of the truck reported no injuries. Their vehicle was driven from the scene.
