News: Driver killed in rollover crash on I 49 in Belton

BELTON, MO – A driver was pronounced dead following a crash in Belton on Wednesday morning, reports FOX 4 KC.

The accident around 11:30 a.m. on Interstate 49 near 155th Street when the driver of a Dodge Dakota lost control of their vehicle while passing a vehicle in the shoulder.

The vehicle went off the road and overturned, ejecting the driver.

Responders took the driver to an area hospital where they later died.

No other injuries are reported.
