News: Driver hurt after crash with semi truck in St. Joseph
BUCHANAN COUNTY, MO – A Stanberry woman was injured in a collision with a semi truck on Highway 752 in Buchanan County on Tuesday morning, reports the MSHP.
The accident took place near 6:05 a.m. on 752 south of I-229 when a Nissan Altima driven by 30-year-old Melysa Olney crossed the centerline and crashed into a Kenworth tractor trailer. The semi’s driver had been able to attempt to evade, causing the Nissan to hit the driver’s side door.
Olney was taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph with moderate injuries. The driver of the truck did not report any injuries.
