News: Driver hurt after going through the end of dead end street in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, MO – A driver was hospitalized in serious condition after driving through the end of a dead-end street in Kansas City on Sunday.

FOX 4 KC reports that the accident took place close to 1:30 p.m. on Winian Avenue when a driver in a Ford Fusion headed southbound towards the end of the street failed to stop and continued on to crash into a tree approximately 30 yards from the roadway.

The driver is reportedly stable after having been taken to the local hospital in serious condition.

No one else was hurt in the crash.
