News: Rider in motorsports show killed crash during stunt

MERWIN, MO – An accident at a motorsports park in Merwin killed a man on Sunday afternoon, according to FOX 4 KC.

The accident occurred at around 12:09 p.m. at the Midwest Extreme Park when Jody Warne crashed his motorcycle while going off a ramp. Warne was ejected from the vehicle which reportedly landed on him when it fell.

Warne was pronounced dead at the scene after extended efforts by paramedics to perform CPR. Warne was 50 years old.
