News: Suspected DWI for driver after crash hospitalizes biker near Smithville Lake

CLAY COUNTY, MO – A motorcyclist was seriously hurt on Sunday night after being struck by a car near Smithville Lake.

KCTV 5 reports that the accident took place around 7:40 p.m. on Litton Way close to DD Highway when a Harley Davidson and Chevrolet Cruze were involved in a collision.

The motorcyclist, a 34-year-old man, was in critical condition and was rushed to the hospital.

The driver of the Cruze has been arrested for alleged DWI.
