News: Pedestrian struck, killed after being struck by car on Truman Road

KANSAS CITY, MO – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle while crossing the street in Kansas City on Thursday.

The accident took place at Truman Road and Grand Boulevard close to 7:45 a.m., reports KSHB. The unnamed pedestrian was crossing Truman when they were struck by an eastbound Audi Q7 as it was changing lanes.

Responders took the pedestrian to the hospital, where they were later declared to have died.

The driver of the Audi remained on the scene to cooperate with responders and no charges are reported.
