News: Stolen car causes head on crash that injured two in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, MO – A crash involving a stolen vehicle in Kansas City injured at least two people on Monday night, reports KCTV 5.

The crash took place close to 6 p.m. at the intersection of 37th Street and Prospect Avenue when a Saturn coupe attempted to take a left turn and was struck head-on by a Chrysler 300.

The driver of the Saturn suffered minor injuries in the crash and the passenger in the vehicle sustained serious injuries.

The driver and passenger of the Chrysler left the scene in a third vehicle before responders arrived.

The Chrysler was discovered to have been reported stolen shortly before the crash.
