News: Man falls asleep at wheel on I 635, seriously injured in crash

KANSAS CITY, KS – A man was hospitalized after he fell asleep at the wheel and rolled his vehicle on I-635 on Thursday morning .

Fox 4 KC reports that close to 6:40 a.m. on Interstate 635 and Kansas Highway 5, a northbound driver fell asleep and crashed into some construction barriers, resulting the vehicle overturning onto its side.

The driver was seriously injured and rushed to the hospital by responders.

There were no other injuries reported.
