News: Motorcyclist seriously hurt after crash in Leavenworth County
LEAVENWORTH COUNTY, KS – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash in Leavenworth County
on Wednesday morning, reports WIBW.
The crash occurred close to 10:30 a.m. near where U.S. Highway 73 crosses Gilman Road when a southbound Yamaha motorcycle struck a Ford Fusion that was taking a turn across the highway.
The motorcyclist, 21-year old D’Marco R. Rabe of Leavenworth, was taken to University of Kansas Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.
The driver of the Ford, 75-year-old Larry G. Hammer of Leavenworth, was treated for minor injuries at St. John’s Hospital.
