News: Two-car crash seriously injures three Blue Eye residents
STONE COUNTY, MO – Three Blue Eye residents were seriously hurt in a two-vehicle crash in Stone County on Thursday, reports the MSHP.
The crash occurred around 5:10 p.m. on Missouri 13 just west of Blue Eye when a Mini Cooper Countryman driven by 80-year-old Tommie Barnes turned into the path of a Chevrolet C10 pickup and was struck in the side.
Barnes and a passenger, 69-year-old Marsha Anderson, were both taken to Cox South with serious injuries.
The driver of the Chevrolet, 22-year-old Dennis Clark, was transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for care.
No other injuries are reported.
