News: Driver of Amish buggy hospitalized after rear-end crash in Grundy County

GRUNDY COUNTY, MO – The driver of an Amish buggy was injured in a rear-end collision in Grundy County west of Spickard on Tuesday morning, according to the MSHP.

The crash happened around 7:35 a.m. on Route C when a Chevrolet Traverse driven by 29-year-old Jinnifer Shuler crashed into the rear of an eastbound buggy driven by Menno M. Hostetler.

Hostetler was thrown from the buggy, which was completely destroyed in the crash.

Hostetler was taken by EMS to Wright Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries.

No other injuries are reported in the crash.
