News: Man, 63, hospitalized after crash on K-10 in Johnson County

JOHNSON COUNTY, KS – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after trying to avoid a crash on K-10 Saturday. 

The collision happened before 8:45 am, WIBW reported. A truck merged into the motorcyclist’s lane, which caused him to lose control of his motorcycle. Shortly after, the vehicle overturned, and the motorcyclist was thrown. 

The motorcyclist was identified as 63-year-old William Riggs. 

Riggs was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash; his current condition is unknown. No further details are available.
