News: Man, 59, injured in car versus truck crash in Sedalia

PETTIS COUNTY, MO – A 59-year-old man was injured in a two-car crash in Sedalia Friday, MSHP reported. 

Missouri State Troopers responded to US Route 50 and Route TT before 7:45 am. 

A driver of a 2007 Acura TL was trying to cross the westbound lanes of Route 50 when he did not yield to a 2005 Kenworth. As a result, he collided with the Kenworth truck. 

The driver of the 2007 Acura TL was identified as Ruben Barajas Arroyo, 59, of La Monte. 

Barajas Arroyo sustained moderate injuries. 

The driver of the Kenworth truck was identified as David W Meyer, 63, of Sedalia. 

Meyer was unharmed.
