News: Woman, 64, hospitalized after car hits barrier, goes airborne in Pleasant Valley
PLEASANT VALLEY, MO – A 64-year-old woman was seriously injured after crashing into a 2018 Chevrolet Wednesday.
The collision occurred at the I-35 northbound ramp leading to I-435 North before 8:30 p.m., the MSHP Traffic Report Page revealed.
For reasons unknown, the driver of a 2002 Chevrolet traveled off-course. Then she hit a concrete barrier before her car went over the border and came off the ground, crashing down to a road below. As a result, the 2018 Chevrolet was struck.
The driver of the 2018 Chevrolet was identified as 50-year-old Sean M O’Malley.
O’Malley was unharmed. However, the driver of the 2002 Chevrolet was hurt.
Karen J Harris, 64, was transported to Kansas City Hospital, where her condition remains unknown.
