News: Teenage girl, 17, hospitalized after getting hit by another driver during traffic in Case County

CASS COUNTY, MO – A 17-year-old girl was injured after she was hit by a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze in Loch Lloyd Thursday. 

The collision occurred before 4:45 p.m. at Route D and East 164th Street, according to the MSHP Traffic Report Page. 

The driver of the 2014 Chevrolet Cruze, 33-year-old Adan Chavez, hit the driver of the 2019 Kia Sorrento because he did not reduce his speed when traffic was approaching. 

Chavez was unharmed. 

The 17-year-old girl was transported to Children’s Mercy Hospital.
