News: One hospitalized for critical injuries after pedestrian-truck crash in Kansas City
KANSAS CITY, MO – One was critically injured in a pedestrian versus pickup truck crash in Oak Park Northwest Saturday.
The collision occurred along East 35th Street and Prospect Avenue, according to KCTV 5.
It appeared the pedestrian was crossing the street diagonally when a white Ford F150 struck him or her.
The truck driver had the right of way, driving through a green light. Police said the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The pedestrian is expected to survive, although his or her identity was not released.
