News: 21-year-old driver injured in single-vehicle crash on I-35 in North Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, MI –  A man was taken to the hospital following a single-vehicle crash on an I-35 transition ramp in North Kansas City on Monday night.

According to a report by the MSHP, the accident took place shortly before 9 p.m. along the the northbound transition ramp to I-29.

Investigators believe the driver, 21-year-old Christopher Jewell, struck a concrete barrier on the left side of the roadway before veering back across the lane and hitting opposite barrier.

Jewell was transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
