News: Multiple juveniles injured in single-vehicle crash near Holden

HOLDEN, MO – Two teens suffered injuries in a single-vehicle collision north of Holden on Tuesday afternoon.

According to a report by the MSHP, the accident happened at about 3:38 p.m. near the intersection of Southwest 225th Rad and Southwest 1241st Road.

Troopers say the 17-year-old driver of a 2003 Ford Explorer swerved to avoid hitting a dear, causing the vehicle to veer off the roadway and overturn.

Two passengers of the vehicle, ages 14 and 15, were treated for minor injuries at the scene. It is unclear if the driver was hurt in the crash.
