News: Rollover crash on US-40 critically injures driver

KANSAS CITY, MO – One person was hospitalized following a rollover crash in southeast Kansas City early today.

According to Fox 4 KC, the collision occurred as the unidentified driver of a white Chevrolet Tahoe travelled at a high rate of speed on US-40. When the SUV approached the I-435 transition ramp, the driver missed the curve and lost control.

The vehicle skidded off the highway, where it struck a utility pole before rolling over an unknown number of times.

The diver was rushed to a local hospital with critical, potentially life-threatening injuries. No one else was reportedly injured as a result of the crash.
