News: 61-year-old woman seriously injured in crash on Route BB

BENTON CO., MO – A woman was rushed to the hospital following a crash in Benton County on Tuesday evening.

According to a report by the MSHP, the woman lost control of her 2001 BMW Z3 on Route BB near Hidden Valley Avenue shortly before 6 p.m.

The vehicle went off the right side of the roadway and crashed through a fence before coming to rest in an embankment.

The driver, 61-year-old Christine Talley, was taken to Mercy Hospital Springfield with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.
