News: Two men hospitalized after box truck, car crash in Grain Valley
JACKSON COUNTY, MO – Two were injured in a collision on the eastbound lanes of I-70 in Grain Valley Monday.
The crash happened after 7:30 p.m., according to the MSHP Traffic Report Page. A driver of a 2015 Isuzu Box Truck crashed into the back of a 1999 Chevrolet S10. For reasons unknown, the Chevrolet was not moving and had no headlights on.
The driver of the Chevrolet was thrown from the car. He was identified as Jay A Brunk, 53, of Independence, Missouri.
The box truck driver was identified as Skler T Easterling, 36, of Blue Springs, Missouri.
Both men were hospitalized at Research Hospital for severe injuries. Their current condition is unknown.
