News: Three-vehicle collision reported on I-35 North in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, MO – Two were injured after a crash on I-35 North Tuesday evening. 

The collision occurred after 5:30 p.m., the MSHP Traffic Report Page revealed. 

Amid traffic, the driver of a 2014 Jeep failed to slow down and crashed into the back of a 2014 Chevrolet. The impact caused the driver of the 2014 Jeep to come into traffic. As a result, a third vehicle – a 2022 International truck – hit the Jeep and Chevrolet. 

Troopers identified the Jeep driver as 23-year-old Braxton L Kanagawa. 

The driver of the Chevrolet was identified as 25-year-old Kane B Anderson. 

Kanagawa and Anderson sustained minor injuries and were taken to North Kansas City Hospital. 

The driver of the 2022 International truck was unharmed.
