News: 2 hospitalized after crash on US-50 in Pettis County

PETTIS COUNTY, MO – Two men were hurt after a Monday night crash on US-50 along Pleasant Green Road in La Monte. 

The driver of a 2009 Infiniti G37 wanted to cross the westbound lanes of US-50 and cut off a 2013 Chevrolet Cruze, according to the MSHP Traffic Report Page.  

The driver of the Chevrolet Cruze hit the Infiniti G37. The impact led the driver of the G37 to travel off-course and hit a sign. 

Troopers identified the driver of the 2009 Infiniti G37 as 45-year-old Jason S Menge of Innisfail, Alberta, Canada. 

The driver of the Chevrolet was identified as Ryan T Collett, 29, of Warrensburg, Missouri. 

Both men were hospitalized at Western Missouri Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries. 

No further information is available.
