News: Man, woman hurt after single-vehicle crash in Centerview

JOHNSON COUNTY, MO – Two were hospitalized after a crash in Centerview Wednesday night. 

The collision occurred after 8 p.m. on 809 Southwest Highway VV, according to the MSHP Traffic Report Page. 

For reasons unknown, a driver of the 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer lost control of her vehicle and crashed into a trough. 

The driver was identified as Jazimin E Mays, 23, from Warrensburg, Missouri. 

Mays and 31-year-old James N Stephenson – a passenger – sustained moderate injuries. They were transported to Research Hospital; their conditions are unknown.
