News: Boy,16, killed in motorcycle, truck crash in Lenexa

LENEXA, KS – A 16-year-old boy’s life was claimed in a motorcycle crash before 9 p.m. Tuesday. 

The collision occurred at Woodland Road and Falcon Ridge Drive, according to KCTV 5

A truck driver wanted to make a left turn onto Falcon Ridge Drive when the motorcyclist, traveling at high speed, hit the side of the truck as the driver made the turn. 

The truck driver cooperated with officials. 

The motorcyclist, the 16-year-old boy, wore a helmet, and gave in to fatal injuries, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
