News: 2 adults, 1 teen hurt in Kansas City crash on I-29 S

KANSAS CITY, MO – A rollover and rear-end crash injured two men and one teenage girl on I-29 South around 3 p.m. Sunday. 

The driver of a 2018 Mercedes Benz crashed into the back of a 2018 Honda Fit, according to the MSHP Traffic Report Page.

The impact caused the Honda to travel off the road, hit a barrier, and rollover. In addition, the collision caused the driver of the Mercedes to crash into a sign. 

The Mercedes Benz driver was identified as 34-year-old Yosniel Valido Diaz of Grand Island, Nebraska. 

Valido Diaz was hospitalized at St. Luke’s for moderate injuries. 

The driver of the Honda was identified as 42-year-old Nick Johnson from St. Louis, Missouri. Johnson and the teenage girl with him sustained minor injuries and declined transportation to a hospital.
