News: Two hurt in Liberty crash on I-35
LIBERTY, MO – Two women were hospitalized after a crash on I-35 Thursday.
The collision occurred before 11:30 a.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol Traffic Report Page revealed.
The driver of a 2007 Ford Focus was stationary in a lane due to a previous crash. As a result, a 2003 Ford F250 sild and hit the Ford Focus.
The driver of the Ford Focus, a 22-year-old man, was not injured. However, the passenger of the Ford Focus – Darlene Rainey, 71, of Jamesport, Missouri – sustained minor injuries.
The driver of the Ford F250, 47-year-old Jeannie Pettit of Gallatin, Missouri, also sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Rainey and Pettit were transported to Liberty Hospital.
