News: Two hurt after crash with tree in Freeman

FREEMAN, MO – Two men were hospitalized after a crash on Highway 2 along Highway C Monday. 

Missouri State Troopers responded to the single-vehicle collision before 8 a.m., the MSHP Live Traffic Report Page revealed. 

For reasons unknown, the driver of a 2004 Ford F250 traveled off-course and collided with barrier. In addition, the pickup truck rolled over and crashed into a tree. 

The driver, 18-year-old Chad Rew, and passenger, 19-year-old Dillon Roberts, were taken to Research Medical Center. 

Rew suffered severe injuries, and Roberts sustained minor injuries.
