News: Woman, 29, seriously hurt in I-435 crash in KCMO

KANSAS CITY, MO – A woman was hospitalized after a crash on I-435 that happened before 11 p.m. Saturday. 

According to the MSHP Traffic Report Page, a driver of a 2010 Chevrolet was improperly stationed on the highway’s right lane. The driver of a 2021 Nissan attempted to overtake and hit the back of the Chevrolet. 

The Chevrolet driver was unharmed, but the Nissan driver – 29-year-old Stormy Monroe – sustained serious injuries. 

Monroe was transported to North Kansas City Hospital, where her condition remains unknown.
