Man, 70, hurt in hit-and-run crash on I-29 ramp in KCMO
KANSAS CITY, MO – A driver was hospitalized after a crash on the I-29 northbound ramp around 4 p.m. Tuesday.
The driver of a 1998 Mercedes S320 tried to make a U-turn in front of a 2022 GMC Sierra and was struck by the Sierra driver, according to the MSHP Traffic Report Page.
The driver of the Mercedes then fled the scene on foot. The GMC driver, Johnny Jones, 70, of Kansas City, was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital for moderate injuries.
