News: Woman, 24, hurt in Kansas City crash on I-435

KANSAS CITY, MO – One was injured in a crash on the southbound lanes of I-435 around 8:15 a.m. Monday. 

For reasons unknown, the driver of a 1994 Nissan Sentra lost control of her vehicle and went in front of a 2019 Ford F150, the MSHP Traffic Report Page indicated. The Ford driver then hit the Nissan Sentra. 

Both vehicles traveled off the road, and the Ford collided with a guard rail. 

The driver of the Ford was unharmed. The Nissan driver, 24-year-old Mariah Trauernicht, sustained minor injuries.
